✧ A Jew said in the market of Madinah: By the One who chose Moses over all mankind. A man from the Ansar slapped him and said: Do you say this while the Messenger of God ﷺ is among us? The Jew went to the Messenger of God ﷺ and the Messenger of God ﷺ said: And the trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon, except whom God wills. Then it will be blown a second time, and behold, they will be standing, looking on. He said: I will be the first to raise his head, and there is Moses holding onto one of the pillars of the Throne. I do not know whether he raised his head before me or was among those whom God exempted. And whoever says: I am better than Jonah son of Matta, has lied.
