حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
الْمَدِينَةُ مَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِيهَا حَدَثًا أَوْ آوَى مُحْدِثًا أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا.

✧ Al-Madinah: whoever introduces an innovation in it, or shelters an innovator, or takes as a patron other than his master, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Allah will not accept from him any obligatory or supererogatory act.
