حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

ثَلَاثٌ إِذَا خَرَجْنَ لَمْ يَنْفَعْ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا، وَالدُّخَانُ، وَدَابَّةُ الْأَرْضِ.

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Wakīʿ
  2. Fuḍayl b. Ghazwān al-Ḍabbī
  3. Abū Ḥāzim
  4. Abū Hurayrah
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ There are three things: when they come forth, no soul will benefit from its faith if it had not believed before or earned good through its faith: the rising of the sun from the west, the smoke, and the Beast of the Earth.
