حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ هَؤُلَاءِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ مَثَلُ نَهَرٍ جَارٍ عَلَى بَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ فَمَاذَا يَبْقَيَنَّ مِنْ دَرَنِهِ.

✧ The likeness of these five prayers is that of a running river at the door of one of you, in which he bathes five times every day—so what dirt would remain on him?
