حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

النَّاسُ مَعَادِنُ فَخِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ خِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ إِذَا فَقِهُوا

Translation

✧ People are mines; the best of them in the pre-Islamic era are the best of them in Islam, if they acquire understanding.
