حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

الَّذِي يَطْعَنُ نَفْسَهُ إِنَّمَا يَطْعَنُهَا فِي النَّارِ، وَالَّذِي يَتَقَحَّمُ فِيهَا يَتَقَحَّمُ فِي النَّارِ، وَالَّذِي يَخْنُقُ نَفْسَهُ يَخْنُقُهَا فِي النَّارِ.

Translation

✧ The one who stabs himself only stabs himself in the Fire, and the one who throws himself into it throws himself into the Fire, and the one who strangles himself strangles himself in the Fire.
