حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبُعَيْهِ مِرَارًا وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ مَا شَبِعَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَهْلُهُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ تِبَاعًا مِنْ خُبْزِ حِنْطَةٍ حَتَّى فَارَقَ الدُّنْيَا.

Translation

✧ I saw Abu Hurayrah gesturing with his two fingers repeatedly, and by the One in Whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurayrah, the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and his household never had their fill of wheat bread for three consecutive days until he departed this world.
