حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

لِلهِ مِائَةُ رَحْمَةٍ أَنْزَلَ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً بَيْنَ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ وَالْهَوَامِّ فَبِهَا يَتَعَاطَفُونَ، وَبِهَا يَتَرَاحَمُونَ، وَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَحْشُ عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا، وَأَخَّرَ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ يَرْحَمُ بِهَا عِبَادَهُ.

Translation

✧ Allah has one hundred mercies. He sent down one mercy among mankind, jinn, and insects. By it they show affection to one another, by it they show mercy to one another, and by it wild animals show affection to their offspring. He has delayed ninety-nine mercies until the Day of Resurrection, with which He will show mercy to His servants.
