حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو يَحْيَى مَوْلَى جَعْدَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ فَمِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
الْمُؤَذِّنُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ مَدَّ صَوْتِهِ، وَيَشْهَدُ لَهُ كُلُّ رَطْبٍ وَيَابِسٍ، وَشَاهِدُ الصَّلَاةِ يُكْتَبُ لَهُ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حَسَنَةً، وَيُكَفَّرُ عَنْهُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا.

✧ The mu'adhdhin is forgiven as far as his voice reaches, and every moist and dry thing bears witness for him. The one who attends the prayer has twenty-five good deeds written for him, and expiation is made for him for what is between them.
