حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِنَّ لِلْمَسَاجِدِ أَوْتَادًا، الْمَلَائِكَةُ جُلَسَاؤُهُمْ، إِنْ غَابُوا يَفْتَقِدُوهُمْ، وَإِنْ مَرِضُوا عَادُوهُمْ، وَإِنْ كَانُوا فِي حَاجَةٍ أَعَانُوهُمْ

Translation

✧ Indeed, mosques have pegs; the angels are their companions. If they are absent, they miss them; if they are ill, they visit them; and if they are in need, they help them.
