وَقَالَ ﷺ

إِذَا قَالَ الْقَارِئُ: سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقَالَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ: اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَوَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ ذَلِكَ قَوْلَ أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ﷺ

✧ When the reciter says “Allah hears the one who praises Him,” and the one behind him says: “O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise,” and his saying coincides with the saying of the people of heaven: “O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise,” his previous sins will be forgiven.
