حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَيْرٍ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَشْعَرُ بَيْتٍ قَالَتْهُ الْعَرَبُ أَلَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا اللهَ بَاطِلُ وَكَادَ أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ.

Translation
