حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَزِّمِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

لَيَدَعَنَّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ الْمَدِينَةَ وَهِيَ خَيْرُ مَا يَكُونُ مُرْطِبَةٌ مُونِعَةٌ فَقِيلَ: فَمَنْ يَأْكُلُهَا ؟ قَالَ: الطَّيْرُ وَالسِّبَاعُ.

Translation

✧ The people of Madinah will certainly leave Madinah while it is at its best, lush and fruitful. It was said: 'Who will eat from it then?' He said: 'The birds and the beasts of prey.'
