✧ Indeed Fatimah and al-Abbas came to Abu Bakr seeking their inheritance from the Messenger of God ﷺ, and at that time they were demanding his land of Fadak and his share of Khaybar. Abu Bakr said to them: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: We are not inherited from; what we leave is charity. The family of Muhammad only eats from this wealth. And by God, I will not leave any matter that I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ do in it but that I will do it.
