حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ فَلْيُفْرِغْ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ مِنْ إِنَائِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ. فَقَالَ قَيْسٌ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ: يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَاءَ مِهْرَاسُكُمْ ؟ قَالَ: أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّكَ يَا قَيْسُ.

✧ When one of you wakes from sleep, let him pour water on his hands from his vessel three times, for he does not know where his hand spent the night. Qays al-Ashja'i said: O Abu Hurayrah, what if your cistern comes? He said: I seek refuge in Allah from your evil, O Qays.
