✧ He used to say when he retired to his bed: "O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the earth and Lord of everything, Splitter of the grain and the date-stone, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every possessor of evil whom You seize by the forelock. You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Outward, so there is nothing above You; You are the Inward, so there is nothing closer than You. Settle my debt and enrich me from poverty."
