حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ النَّاسُ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ، وَالْمُؤْمِنُ مَنْ أَمِنَهُ النَّاسُ عَلَى دِمَائِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ

Translation

✧ The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the believer is the one whom the people trust with their blood and their wealth.
