حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ خَيْرٌ أَوْ أَفْضَلُ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ، وَكُلٌّ إِلَى خَيْرٍ، احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَلَا تَعْجِزْ، فَإِنْ غَلَبَكَ أَمْرٌ فَقُلْ قَدَّرَ اللهُ وَمَا شَاءَ صَنَعَ، وَإِيَّاكَ وَاللَّوَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّوْ يَفْتَحُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ

✧ The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, than the weak believer, though there is good in each. Be keen on what benefits you, and do not be helpless. If something overcomes you, then say: Allah has decreed, and what He wills He does. Beware of saying 'if only,' for 'if only' opens the way for Satan.
