حَدَّثَنَا هَيْثَمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ وحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

يُجْمَعُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي صَعِيدٍ وَاحِدٍ، ثُمَّ يَطَّلِعُ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ: أَلَا تَتَّبِعُ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ مَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ ؟ فَيَتَمَثَّلُ لِصَاحِبِ الصَّلِيبِ صَلِيبُهُ، وَلِصَاحِبِ الصُّوَرِ صُوَرُهُ، وَلِصَاحِبِ النَّارِ نَارُهُ، فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ، وَيَبْقَى الْمُسْلِمُونَ، فَيَطَّلِعُ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ فَيَقُولُ: أَلَا تَتَّبِعُونَ النَّاسَ ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: نَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْكَ، نَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْكَ، اللهُ رَبُّنَا، وَهَذَا مَكَانُنَا حَتَّى نَرَى رَبَّنَا، وَهُوَ يَأْمُرُهُمْ وَيُثَبِّتُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَارَى، ثُمَّ يَطَّلِعُ فَيَقُولُ: أَلَا تَتَّبِعُونَ النَّاسَ ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: نَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْكَ، نَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْكَ، اللهُ رَبُّنَا، وَهَذَا مَكَانُنَا حَتَّى نَرَى رَبَّنَا، وَهُوَ يَأْمُرُهُمْ وَيُثَبِّتُهُمْ ". قَالُوا: وَهَلْ نَرَاهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: " وَهَلْ تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ ؟ " قَالُوا: لَا، قَالَ: " فَإِنَّكُمْ لَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ تِلْكَ السَّاعَةَ، ثُمَّ يَتَوَارَى، ثُمَّ يَطَّلِعُ فَيُعَرِّفُهُمْ نَفْسَهُ، فَيَقُولُ: أَنَا رَبُّكُمْ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ، اتَّبِعُونِي، فَيَقُومُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ، وَيُوضَعُ الصِّرَاطُ، فَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ وَالرِّكَابِ، وَقَوْلُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ: سَلِّمْ سَلِّمْ، وَيَبْقَى أَهْلُ النَّارِ، فَيُطْرَحُ مِنْهُمْ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ فَيُقَالُ: هَلِ امْتَلَأْتِ ؟ وَتَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ ؟ ثُمَّ يُطْرَحُ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ فَيُقَالُ: هَلِ امْتَلَأْتِ ؟ وَتَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ ؟ حَتَّى إِذَا أُوعِبُوا فِيهَا وَضَعَ الرَّحْمَنُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدَمَهُ فِيهَا، وَزُوِيَ بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَتْ: قَطْ قَطْ. وَإِذَا صُيِّرَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ فِي النَّارِ، أُتِيَ بِالْمَوْتِ مُلَبَّبًا، فَيُوقَفُ عَلَى السُّورِ الَّذِي بَيْنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ: يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَطَّلِعُونَ خَائِفِينَ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ: يَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ، فَيَطَّلِعُونَ مُسْتَبْشِرِينَ يَرْجُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ، فَيُقَالُ لِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَلِأَهْلِ النَّارِ: تَعْرِفُونَ هَذَا ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ هَؤُلَاءِ وَهَؤُلَاءِ: قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ هُوَ الْمَوْتُ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِنَا، فَيُضْجَعُ فَيُذْبَحُ ذَبْحًا عَلَى السُّورِ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ: يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ، خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ، وَيَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ. وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: " وَأُزْوِيَ بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: قَطْ ؟ قَالَتْ: قَطْ قَطْ

✧ People will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection on a single plain, then the Lord of the worlds will appear to them. Then it will be said: 'Will not every nation follow what they used to worship?' The object of the cross will be represented for the cross-worshipper, images for the image-worshipper, and fire for the fire-worshipper. They will follow what they used to worship, and the Muslims will remain. Then the Lord of the worlds will appear to them and say: 'Will you not follow the people?' They will say: 'We seek refuge in Allah from you, we seek refuge in Allah from you, Allah is our Lord, and this is our place until we see our Lord.' He commands them and makes them firm. Then He withdraws, then appears and says: 'Will you not follow the people?' They say: 'We seek refuge in Allah from you, we seek refuge in Allah from you, Allah is our Lord, and this is our place until we see our Lord.' He commands them and makes them firm.' They said: 'Will we see Him, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on a full-moon night?' They said: 'No.' He said: 'Then you will not have any difficulty in seeing Him at that hour. Then He withdraws, then appears and makes Himself known to them, saying: 'I am your Lord, I am your Lord, follow me.' The Muslims stand up, and the bridge is placed. They are upon it like swift horses and mounts, and their saying upon it: 'Save, save.' The people of the Fire remain, and a group of them is thrown into it. It is said: 'Are you full?' It says: 'Is there any more?' Then another group is thrown into it, and it is said: 'Are you full?' It says: 'Is there any more?' Until when they are all contained in it, the Most Merciful, Mighty and Majestic, places His foot in it, and parts of it are drawn together. Then it says: 'Enough, enough.' When the people of Paradise are placed in Paradise and the people of the Fire in the Fire, death is brought in a collar and made to stand on the wall between the people of the Fire and the people of Paradise. Then it is said: 'O people of Paradise,' and they look out in fear. Then it is said: 'O people of the Fire,' and they look out rejoicing, hoping for intercession. It is said to the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire: 'Do you recognize this?' They, these and those, say: 'We have recognized it: it is death that was appointed over us.' It is laid down and slaughtered on the wall. Then it is said: 'O people of Paradise, eternity with no death, and O people of the Fire, eternity with no death.' Qutaybah said in his narration: 'And parts of it were drawn together, then he said: Enough? It said: Enough, enough.'
