✧ When this verse was revealed: "And warn your nearest kindred" (Q 26:214), the Messenger of Allah ﷺ summoned Quraysh, both generally and specifically, and said: O assembly of Quraysh, save yourselves from the Fire. O assembly of Banū Kaʿb b. Luʾayy, save yourselves from the Fire. O assembly of Banū ʿAbd Manāf, save yourselves from the Fire. O assembly of Banū Hāshim, save yourselves from the Fire. O Banū ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, save yourselves from the Fire. O Fāṭimah, daughter of Muḥammad, save yourself from the Fire, for by Allah, I possess nothing from Allah for you, except that you have kinship which I will keep well-moistened.
