Musnad Ahmad 8725

Translation

✧ When one of you performs istijmār (cleaning with stones), let him use an odd number. If a dog laps into the vessel of one of you, let him wash it seven times. The surplus water should not be withheld to prevent access to pasture. It is a right of camels that they be milked at the water on the day they come to drink.
