حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ قَالَ: إِيمَانٌ لَا شَكَّ فِيهِ، وَغَزْوٌ لَا غُلُولَ فِيهِ، وَحَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ. وَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: وَحَجَّةٌ مَبْرُورَةٌ تُكَفِّرُ خَطَايَا تِلْكَ السَّنَةِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  4. Abū Jaʿfar
  5. Abū Hurayrah

✧ It was said: O Messenger of Allah, which deeds are best? He said: Faith in which there is no doubt, a military expedition in which there is no misappropriation, and an accepted Hajj. Abu Hurayrah used to say: And an accepted Hajj expiates the sins of that year.
