حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِيأَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ، وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ، ثُمَّ قَدْ حُرِّمَ عَلَيَّ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَأَمْوَالُهُمْ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

✧ I was commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and establish prayer, and give zakah. Then their blood and wealth become forbidden to me, and their reckoning is with God, Mighty and Majestic.
