حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِشِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُدَايِنُ النَّاسَ، فَكَانَ يَقُولُ لِفَتَاهُ: إِذَا أَتَيْتَ مُعْسِرًا فَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْهُ لَعَلَّ اللهَ يَتَجَاوَزُ عَنَّا، فَلَقِيَ اللهَ فَتَجَاوَزَ عَنْهُ

✧ There was a man who used to lend money to people, and he would say to his servant, "When you come to someone in difficulty, overlook it, so that perhaps Allah will overlook our faults." Then he met Allah, and He overlooked his faults.
