✧ I used to come to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ every morning. If he cleared his throat, I entered; if he was silent, I did not enter. He said: He came out to me and said: Something happened last night. I heard a rustling sound in the house, and there was Jibril ﷺ. I said: What prevented you from entering the house? He said: There is a dog in the house. He said: I entered and found a puppy belonging to al-Hasan under a chair of ours. He said: He said: The angels do not enter a house in which there are three things: a dog, an image, or a person in a state of janabah.
