حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: وَأَنْذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الأَقْرَبِينَ جَعَلَ يَدْعُو بُطُونَ قُرَيْشٍ بَطْنًا بَطْنًا " يَا بَنِي فُلَانٍ، أَنْقِذُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ "، حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى فَاطِمَةَ فَقَالَ: يَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْةَ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنْقِذِي نَفْسَكِ مِنَ النَّارِ، لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ مِنَ اللهِ شَيْئًا، غَيْرَ أَنَّ لَكُمْ رَحِمًا سَأَبُلُّهَا بِبَلَالِهَا

Translation

✧ When the verse “And warn your nearest kinsfolk” was revealed, he began to call the clans of Quraysh, clan by clan: “O Banu so-and-so, save yourselves from the Fire,” until he came to Fatimah, and said: “O Fatimah bt. Muhammad, save yourself from the Fire. I possess nothing for you against God, except that you have a kinship I shall maintain with its ties.”
