حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي إِذَا رَأَيْتُكَ طَابَتْ نَفْسِي وَقَرَّتْ عَيْنِي، فَأَنْبِئْنِي عَنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، قَالَ: " كُلُّ شَيْءٍ خُلِقَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ " قَالَ: أَنْبِئْنِي بِأَمْرٍ إِذَا أَخَذْتُ بِهِ دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ، قَالَ: أَفْشِ السَّلَامَ، وَأَطْعِمِ الطَّعَامَ، وَصِلِ الْأَرْحَامَ، وَصَلِّ وَالنَّاسُ نِيَامٌ، ثُمَّ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ بِسَلَامٍ

Translation

✧ He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "When I see you, my soul is at ease and my eye is gladdened. Tell me about everything." He said: "Everything was created from water." He said: "Tell me of a matter if I act upon it I will enter Paradise." He said: "Spread peace, feed food, maintain ties of kinship, and pray while people sleep; then enter Paradise in peace."
