حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
حَقُّ الْمُؤْمِنِ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِ سِتُّ خِصَالٍ: أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا لَقِيَهُ، وَيُشَمِّتَهُ إِذَا عَطَسَ، وَإِنْ دَعَاهُ أَنْ يُجِيبَهُ، وَإِذَا مَرِضَ أَنْ يَعُودَهُ، وَإِذَا مَاتَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَهُ، وَإِذَا غَابَ أَنْ يَنْصَحَ لَهُ

✧ The right of a believer upon a believer is six traits: to greet him when he meets him, to invoke mercy on him when he sneezes, to answer him if he invites him, to visit him if he falls ill, to attend his funeral if he dies, and to give him sincere counsel if he is absent.
