وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَبْصُقْ أَمَامَهُ؛ فَإِنَّهُ مُنَاجٍ لِلهِ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ، وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ؛ فَإِنَّ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ مَلَكًا، وَلَكِنْ لِيَبْصُقْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ رِجْلِهِ فَيَدْفِنُهُ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ When one of you stands for prayer, let him not spit in front of him, for he is in intimate conversation with Allah as long as he remains in his place of prayer; nor to his right, for on his right is an angel. Rather, let him spit to his left or under his foot and bury it.
