حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ

سَمِعْت أَبِي يَقُولُ قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ أُفَضِّلُ يَعْنِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ كَأَنَّهُ أَعْجَبَهُ حُسْنُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَجَوْدَتُهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ʿAbdullāh from my father

✧ I heard my father say: I said to 'Abd al-Razzaq, O Abu Bakr, I prefer, meaning this hadith, as if its excellence and soundness pleased him. He said: Yes.
