وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ: رَبِّ، ذَاكَ عَبْدُكَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ سَيِّئَةً، وَهُوَ أَبْصَرُ بِهِ، فَقَالَ: ارْقُبُوهُ فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ بِمِثْلِهَا، وَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً، إِنَّمَا تَرَكَهَا مِنْ جَرَّايَ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ The angels said: Lord, that servant of Yours intends to do an evil deed, and He is more aware of him. So He said: Watch him. If he does it, record it for him as one like it; but if he leaves it, record it for him as a good deed, for he left it only for My sake.
