وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
أَيَفْرَحُ أَحَدُكُمْ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ إِذَا ضَلَّتْ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ وَجَدَهَا ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ. قَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، لَلَّهُ أَشَدُّ فَرَحًا بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ إِذَا تَابَ، مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ إِذَا وَجَدَهَا
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ Would one of you rejoice over his riding camel if it went astray from him and then he found it? They said: Yes, O Messenger of God ﷺ. He said: By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, God is more intensely joyful at the repentance of His servant when he repents than one of you is over his riding camel when he finds it.
