Musnad Ahmad 8171

Translation

✧ Allah, mighty and majestic, created Adam in His image; his height was sixty cubits. When He created him, He said to him: “Go and greet that group—they are a group of angels sitting—and listen to how they respond to you, for it will be your greeting and the greeting of your descendants.” He said: So he went and said, “Peace be upon you.” They said, “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah,” so they added “and the mercy of Allah.” He said: So everyone who enters Paradise will be in the image of Adam, his height sixty cubits. Creation has continued to decrease since then until now.
