وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
خُفِّفَتْ عَلَى دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ الْقِرَاءَةُ، فَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِدَابَّتِهِ تُسْرَجُ. فَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُسْرَجَ دَابَّتُهُ، وَكَانَ لَا يَأْكُلُ إِلَّا مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدَيْهِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ Recitation was made easy for Dawud ﷺ ; he would order his mount to be saddled, and he would recite the Qur'an before his mount was saddled. He would eat only from the work of his own hands.
