قَالَ
تَحَاجَّ آدَمُ وَمُوسَى، فَقَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى: أَنْتَ آدَمُ، الَّذِي أَغْوَيْتَ النَّاسَ وَأَخْرَجْتَهُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ آدَمُ: أَنْتَ مُوسَى الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ اللهُ عِلْمَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَاصْطَفَاكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بِرِسَالَتِهِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: أَتَلُومُنِي عَلَى أَمْرٍ كَانَ قَدْ كُتِبَ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أَفْعَلَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ أُخْلَقَ ؟ قَالَ: فَحَاجَّ آدَمُ مُوسَى [صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِمَا وَسَلَّمَ]
Translation
✧ Adam and Musa debated. Musa said to him, 'You are Adam, who led people astray and brought them out of the Garden to the earth.' Adam said to him, 'You are Musa, whom Allah gave knowledge of everything and chose above the people with His message?' He said, 'Yes.' Adam said, 'Do you blame me for a matter that had been decreed upon me to do before I was created?' He said, 'So Adam out-argued Musa [may Allah bless them both and grant them peace].'
