حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي جِنَازَةٍ فَأَمْشِي، فَإِذَا مَشَيْتُ سَبَقَنِي فَأُهَرْوِلُ فَأَسْبِقُهُ. فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ رَجُلٌ إِلَى جَنْبِي فَقَالَ: تُطْوَى لَهُ الْأَرْضُ وَخَلِيلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

✧ I was with the Messenger of God ﷺ at a funeral, walking, and when I walked, he outran me, so I would hurry and outrun him. A man beside me turned to me and said: The earth is folded for him, and he is the close friend of Ibrahim.
