حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ مَرَّ بِقَوْمٍ يَتَوَضَّؤُونَ مِنْ مَطْهَرَةٍ فَقَالَ: أَحْسِنُوا الْوُضُوءَ يَرْحَمْكُمُ اللهُ، أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ ؟

Translation

✧ I saw Abu Hurayrah pass by some people performing ablution from a water container, and he said: 'Perform ablution well, may Allah have mercy on you. Have you not heard what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Woe to the heels from the Fire?'
