Musnad Ahmad 7760

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "My wife has given birth to a dark-skinned boy and it was being suggested to me to disown him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you have any camels?" He said, "Yes." He said, "What are their colors?" He said, "Red." He said, "Are there any white ones among them?" He said, "Yes, there are a few with white spots." He said, "From which do you think they come?" He said, "I do not know, maybe it is because of a vein." He said, "Likewise, maybe it is because of a vein." But he never permitted him to deny his son.
