✧ We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was distributing dates from the charity dates, and al-Hasan b. Ali was in his lap. When he finished, the Prophet ﷺ carried him on his shoulder, and his saliva flowed onto the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ raised his head toward him, and there was a date in his mouth. The Prophet ﷺ put his hand in and pulled it out from him, then said: "Do you not know that charity is not lawful for the family of Muhammad?"
