حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ قَارِظٍ أَخْبَرَهُ
أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَتَوَضَّأُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ. فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: إِنَّمَا أَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ أَثْوَارِ أَقِطٍ أَكَلْتُهَا لِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: تَوَضَّؤُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ
Translation

✧ He found Abu Hurayrah performing ablution on the roof of the mosque. Abu Hurayrah said, 'I am performing ablution only because of some pieces of dried curd I ate, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Perform ablution from what fire has touched.'
