حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ وَأَبِي رَزِينٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ. وَإِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِي فِي نَعْلِهِ الْأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Muʿāwiyah
  2. al-Aʿmash
  3. Abū Ṣāliḥ And ʾAbī Razīn
  4. Abū Hurayrah
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ When a dog licks the vessel of one of you, let him wash it seven times. And when the strap of one of you breaks, let him not walk in his other sandal until he repairs it.
