حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَعْقَاعُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِنَّمَا أَنَا لَكُمْ مِثْلُ الْوَالِدِ أُعَلِّمُكُمْ، فَإِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلَاءَ فَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوهَا وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا. وَلَا يَسْتَنْجِي بِيَمِينِهِ. وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ، وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الرَّوْثِ وَالرِّمَّةِ

Translation

✧ I am to you only like a parent: I teach you. When one of you goes to relieve himself, he should not face it or turn his back to it, and he should not clean himself with his right hand. He used to command three stones and forbid dung and old bones.
