حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ

اخْتَصَمَ الرِّجَالُ وَالنِّسَاءُ أَيُّهُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَكْثَرُ؟ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ: أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِثْلُ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ عَلَى أَضْوَإِ كَوْكَبٍ دُرِّيٍّ. لِكُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ زَوْجَتَانِ اثْنَتَانِ يُرَى مُخُّ سَاقِهِمَا مِنْ وَرَاءِ اللَّحْمِ، وَمَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَعْزَبُ

Translation

✧ The men and women disputed as to which of them would be more numerous in Paradise. Abu Hurayrah said: Abu al-Qasim ﷺ said: “The first to enter Paradise will be like the moon on the night of the full moon. Then those who follow them will be like the brightest shining star. Each man among them will have two wives, the marrow of whose shanks will be seen through the flesh. And in Paradise there will be no unmarried person.”
