حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ

إِذَا انْتَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا خَلَعَ الْيُسْرَى، وَإِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدٍ لِيُحْفِهِمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيُنْعِلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Sufyān
  2. Abū al-Zinād
  3. al-Aʿraj

✧ When one of you puts on sandals, let him begin with the right; and when he removes them, let him begin with the left. And if the strap of one of your sandals breaks, he should not walk in a single sandal; let him wear both or go barefoot both.
