Musnad Ahmad 7279

Translation

✧ I asked him about it: How is the food, the food of the rich? He said: Al-A‘raj told me, from Abu Hurayrah: The worst food is the food of a walimah to which the rich are invited and the poor are left out. Whoever does not attend the invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.
