حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ بَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ مَلَائِكَةٌ يَكْتُبُونَ الْأَوَّلَ فَالْأَوَّلَ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طُوِيَتِ الصُّحُفُ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Sufyān
  2. al-Zuhrī
  3. Saʿīdʿan Abū Hurayrah Yablugh Bih al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ On Friday, at every gate of the mosque there are angels recording people in order of arrival. When the imam comes out, the registers are rolled up.
