✧ I met the Prophet ﷺ when I was in a state of major ritual impurity, so I walked with him until he sat down. I slipped away, went to the saddle, performed ghusl, and then came while he was seated. He said: 'Where were you?' I said: 'You met me when I was in a state of major ritual impurity, and I disliked sitting with you in that state, so I went and performed ghusl.' He said: 'Glory be to Allah! The believer does not become impure.'
