✧ A Muslim man asked permission of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ regarding a woman called Umm Mahzul who had been committing fornication, and she stipulated for him that she would spend on him. He asked the Prophet ﷺ about her, or mentioned her affair to him, so the Prophet ﷺ recited: 'The fornicatress does not marry except a fornicator or a polytheist.' He said: 'It was revealed: the fornicatress does not marry except a fornicator or a polytheist.'
