✧ A bold bedouin from the 'Alawi tribe came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, tell us about emigration to you: is it wherever you are, or for a particular people, or to a specific land, or does it cease when you die?' He said: 'He was silent for a little while, then said: 'Where is the questioner?' He said: 'Here he is, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Emigration is to abandon immoralities, both open and secret, to establish prayer, and to give zakah. Then you are an emigrant even if you die in settled land.' Then Abdullah b. Amr said, initiating on his own: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, tell us about the garments of the people of Paradise: are they created or woven?' Some of the people laughed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Why do you laugh? At an ignorant man asking a learned one?' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ bowed his head, then said: 'Where is the questioner?' He said: 'Here I am, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'No, rather they split open from the fruits of Paradise,' three times.
