✧ I entered the mosque of Iliya and prayed two rak'ahs facing a pillar. A man came and prayed near me, and the people leaned toward him. He was Abdullah b. Amr b. al-As. A messenger of Yazid b. Mu'awiyah came to him saying, 'Answer the summons.' He said, 'This one forbids me to narrate as his father used to forbid me, but I heard your Prophet ﷺ say: I seek refuge in You from a soul that is not satisfied, from a heart that is not humble, from a supplication that is not heard, and from knowledge that does not benefit. I seek refuge in You from these four.'
